COSMOS COPA ANNOUNCE PARTNERS FOR 2012

Cosmos Copa are delighted to announce our partners for the 2012 tournament. 

Joining our returning partners, NYC & Co., NYC Parks, Fosa USA, Modell's, and NYC Water, are our new partners for 2012: The Cosmopolitan Soccer League, Powerade, MADE Drinks, Kind Snacks, Five Hour Energy, New York Hospital Queens, Quality Physio and The Football Factory. 

For the first time, Cosmos Copa has teamed up with the Cosmopolitan Soccer League to ensure the highest quality on-pitch product, including improving the standard of refereeing. The CSL is one of the most historic soccer leagues in the country and has been a staple of New York City soccer since the 1920's. In fact, many of the original members of the New York Cosmos in the early 1970's such as Shep Messing and Werner Roth came out of the CSL. Many of the players in Cosmos Copa play regularly in the CSL and this partnership is a natural extension of this pre existing relationship. With the help of CSL, Cosmos Copa will be able to solidify its reputation as one of the most competitive soccer tournaments in the country.  

Modell's has been an important partner for Cosmos Copa for three years now and they return again in 2012. Modell's created a unique coupon in conjunction with Cosmos Copa to support a local soccer club, South Bronx United. All Cosmos Copa fans may use the coupon (see below) to get 15% off any purchase at Modell's. A portion of that money will go back into South Bronx United which strives to promote educational achievement, health and wellness, and character development through activities on and off the soccer field.

Modell's are joined by new partners MADE Drinks, Powerade and Kind Snacks. MADE Drinks and Powerade will be providing refreshment to the Cosmos Copa players throughout the tournament while Kind Snacks will be fueling the players with healthy snacks. 

This year, we have a number of entities joining together to help bring physical therapy on site for the players. Quality Physio will be present at the Group Stages and Quarterfinals courtesy of Westchester Square Physical Therapy, Thera-Roll and KT Tape. Further physical therapy will be provided by New York Hospital Queens.
