TEAMS

Each Cosmos Copa "national team" is comprised of the best amateur players from the New York tri-state area representing their culture. Specifically, each team includes the following:

• Team president
• Coach (or coaches)
• 22-player roster

The Cosmos Copa NYC 2011 tournament will feature 30 teams. To earn the distinction of becoming an "NYC" national team, a participating community team must advance through the Qualifying Round of the previous year and reach the COSMOS COPA NYC Tournament. Once a community team has achieved "NYC" status, it will forever be referred to as an "NYC" team in any upcoming COSMOS COPA NYC Tournament.
